Child of the Dark is the first and, at the moment, only one of its kind. It is diary written by Carolina Maria de Jesus, a Brazilian peasant who lived most of her life in one of the slums of São Paulo. It starts abruptly with no introduction or beginning point. It just jumps straight into Carolina’s everyday life/5(45).

child of Jesus book The Infancy Gospel of Thomas is thought to be Gnostic in origin. Later references (by Hippolytus of Rome and Origen of Alexandria) to a "Gospel of Thomas" are not at all referring to this Infancy Gospel, as Language: Greek.

The book is as the title suggests: it is stories of Jesus, or mostly, people who encounter Christ in their hearts, and each story is from a different country. They are interesting and all have good messages, but this is not great, compelling literature/5.
